What’s the difference between Weatherproof and Weatherproof Max?
Weatherproof uses 600D marine-grade fabric with sealed seams — ideal for year-round outdoor storage. Weatherproof Max adds a soft fleece interior lining to prevent scratches, reinforced stress points, and lock-compatible grommets. Max also includes our lifetime warranty vs. 5-year for Weatherproof.

Fitment & Sizing
5 questions01 Will this cover fit if I have accessories installed?
Most AllGuard covers are designed to accommodate common accessories like windshields, roofs, and light bars. Our product pages specify clearance for accessories. For heavily modified vehicles with lift kits, oversized tires, or custom cages, contact us with your specs — we can often recommend a solution or create a custom pattern.
02 How tight should my cover fit?
A proper fit should be snug but not stretched. You should be able to easily reach all buckles and straps without excessive force. The cover should follow the contours of your vehicle without pooling (which traps water) or being so tight that it causes stress on seams. If you’re between sizes, go up — a slightly loose cover is better than one that’s too tight.
03 What if my vehicle isn’t listed in your selector?
Contact us directly. We have patterns for many vehicles not yet in our online database, and we’re constantly adding new models. If we don’t have your exact vehicle, we can often match you with a compatible cover or discuss custom options.
04 Do you make covers for trailers or transport?
Our covers are designed for storage, not trailering. The wind forces during transport can damage both the cover and your vehicle. For transport protection, we recommend a dedicated travel cover or trailer enclosure system.
05 Can I use a UTV cover on my ATV?
No — UTV and ATV covers are designed for very different vehicle profiles. UTVs have roll cages and wider stances; ATVs have exposed handlebars and narrower frames. Using the wrong type will result in poor fit and inadequate protection. We offer dedicated covers for both.
Materials
4 questions01 What does “600D marine-grade” mean?
600D refers to the denier count — a measure of fiber thickness and density. Higher denier means more durable fabric. “Marine-grade” indicates the fabric is treated to resist UV degradation, mildew, and water penetration at levels suitable for marine environments (boats, docks). It’s significantly more robust than standard automotive fabrics.
02 Are your covers waterproof or water-resistant?
Our Standard tier is water-resistant — it will shed rain but isn’t designed for prolonged exposure. Weatherproof and Weatherproof Max are fully waterproof with sealed seams, meaning no water penetrates the fabric or seam stitching. However, some moisture can enter through vents (necessary to prevent condensation) or at ground level in extreme flooding.
03 Will the cover scratch my paint or plastics?
Standard and Weatherproof covers have a soft inner coating that won’t scratch properly maintained surfaces. Weatherproof Max goes further with a full fleece interior lining — this provides extra protection against scratches and is recommended for show vehicles or new machines you want to keep pristine.
04 How do your covers handle extreme heat?
AllGuard covers are engineered for extreme heat environments. Our fabrics are UV-stabilized to resist fading and brittleness even after years of sun exposure. The breathable design prevents heat buildup that can damage plastics and seats. We test at sustained temperatures above 120°F.
Shipping & Returns
4 questions01 Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship to Canada, Mexico, Australia, and select European countries. International shipping rates and times vary by destination. Contact us for a quote to your location. Note that international customers are responsible for any customs duties or import fees.
02 What is your return policy?
We offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If your cover doesn’t fit or you’re not happy for any reason, contact us for a return authorization. Covers must be in new, unused condition with original packaging. We’ll refund your purchase price to your original payment method. Restocking fees may apply for items returned without an RMA number or after 10 days. Custom orders are non-refundable. See our full return policy for details.
03 My cover arrived damaged — what do I do?
Contact us immediately with photos of the damage and packaging. We’ll ship a replacement at no charge and arrange pickup of the damaged item. This is covered under our shipping guarantee, not your product warranty.
04 How do I track my order?
Yes! Local pickup is available at our warehouse (2847 E. McDowell Rd). Select “Local Pickup” at checkout and we’ll email you when your order is ready — usually same day for in-stock items. Bring your order confirmation and ID.
Care & Maintenance
3 questions01 How often should I clean my cover?
We recommend cleaning your cover every 2–3 months with regular use, or immediately after exposure to mud, sap, or bird droppings. For desert environments with heavy dust, monthly cleaning helps maintain water repellency. Always ensure the cover is completely dry before storage.
02 Can I use a pressure washer on my cover?
We don’t recommend pressure washers — the high pressure can damage the water-resistant coating and seam sealing. Use a garden hose with normal pressure, mild soap, and a soft brush. For stubborn stains, let soapy water soak for 10–15 minutes before gentle scrubbing.
03 How do I restore water repellency?
Over time, the DWR (durable water repellent) coating can wear down. You can restore it with aftermarket fabric waterproofing sprays like Nikwax or 303 Fabric Guard. Clean the cover first, apply the spray evenly, and allow to dry completely. This is typically needed every 1–2 years depending on use.
Warranty
2 questions01 How do I file a warranty claim?
Email help@utvcovers.com with your order number and clear photos showing the issue. Our team reviews claims within 24 hours. For obvious manufacturing defects, we typically approve same-day. If we need to inspect the cover, we’ll provide a prepaid shipping label. Approved claims ship within 48 hours.
02 Does the warranty cover fading?
Yes, premature fading within the warranty period is covered. Some color change after years of UV exposure is normal and expected, but significant fading within the first few years indicates a material defect. Weatherproof Max with lifetime warranty includes fading coverage for the life of the product.
